The tickets are booked and the hotel reservation made. Now its time to pack for the beach and the bars, parties and poolside. Style plays a big part in feeling good on your well-deserved holiday, so lets meet some stylish holidaymakers and get their views on how to pack for holiday-time.
TELL ME ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE WEARING
It’s a natural cotton fibre dress I bought travelling in Australia. Its very lightweight and cool on the skin – important in this heat! And very comfortable. I always bring a hat for the hot sunny days.
WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU PACK WHEN YOU GO ON HOLIDAY?
Depending where im going, if its to a beach the bikini goes in first. Then I make sure I have a dress for the daytime, that I could also wear out at night.
HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO HAVE CLOTHES YOU LOOK GOOD IN ON HOLIDAY?
Looking good is important as it helps you feel good, but being comfortable is even more important. I’m happiest when I’m wearing comfortable clothes. Its how you wear it that counts!
ARE YOU A LAST MINUTE PACKER OR IS THE BAG READY TO GO THE DAY BEFORE?
Haha very last minute! I always try to be organised, but it never happens!
YOU’RE ITALIAN, HOW DOES THAT INFLUENCE YOUR FASHION
There’s so much good fashion in Italy. It’s in my DNA. My family were in the fashion industry and it was like food for us growing up! It’s a form of expression that influences you every single day.
ANY HOLIDAY FASHION DISASTERS?
Yes I went to Tomorrowland in Belgium, and forgot to take any closed shoes. I had to run into town and run around looking for boots. Lesson learned – always have a pair of boots with you!!
